Our Membership Terms apply to all Members at any West End Dental practice. They do not apply to Practice Plan or Denplan subscribers.
These terms are an old version. They are valid to members who signed-up or renewed up to and including 14 January 2024.

Essentials Membership provides the following benefits, per year:

Gold+ extends these benefits by adding an additional Routine Dental Consultation per year.

Child & Teen Membership provides the following benefits, per year:
A Routine Dental Consultation consists of an oral health examination. The extent and scope of the examination will depend on your oral health concerns and presentation.
An Extended Dental Consultation includes, in addition, a basic clean of your teeth and gums by the dental surgeon conducting the appointment.
Where "All Private Prescriptions" is listed as a benefit, there are no charges for the issuing of any private prescription.
The fulfilment of a private prescription is subject to charges raised by pharmacies and will depend on the pharmacy selected and the nature of the prescription. We are not responsible for these fees, and they are not included as a benefit of Membership.
Where "All Intra-Oral X-Rays" is listed as a benefit, there are no charges for any intra-oral periapical or bitewing x-rays prescribed and delivered by a West End Dental team member. This benefit specifically excludes extra-oral x-rays, including but not limited to Orthopantomograms (OPGs) and Computerised Tomography Scans (CT-Scans).
Premium Treatments are defined as any Course of Treatment that includes:

Claim Form1.1 These terms and conditions apply to all Membership plans offered by West End Dental Holdings Ltd (“West End Dental”) and its subsidiary companies.
1.2 Membership is a scheme to provide preventative dental treatment over a twelve month period and to provide additional discounts and/or benefits to individuals who are registered under the scheme (“Members”) as stated under "Benefits" above.
You can access the current version of these Terms and Conditions from a member of our Customer Care Team or our website at www.westend-dental.com/membership-terms.
1.3 All services delivered by West End Dental, including Membership, are delivered in accordance with our “Terms of Business”, available in writing from a member of our Customer Care Team or at our website at www.westend-dental.com/terms.
2.1 By entering into a Membership plan, Members are committing to a “Minimum Membership Period” of twelve (12) months, subject to the “Cooling Off Period” (per clause 2.3).
2.2 Members are entitled to the benefits of the Membership plan from the date their application is accepted by the West End Dental practice (the “Commencement Date”) until the plan is terminated by either party.
2.3 Members have a fourteen (14) day Cooling Off Period from the date they complete their Membership application form in which to cancel their Membership. If a Member cancels their Membership within this period any payment they have made towards Membership will be refunded in full, provided they have not accessed any benefits available under Membership.
2.4 Cancellation within the Cooling Off Period can be actioned by the Member emailing us at info@westend-dental.com or writing to us at Membership Services, West End Dental, 104 Conway Road, Colwyn Bay LL29 7LL.
2.5 All payments under Membership plans are non-refundable, save for the provisions of clause 2.3.
2.6 It is the responsibility of Members to avail themselves of the benefits of Membership. West End Dental shall not accept any responsibility, nor offer any refunds, for a Member’s failure to access the benefits available to them.
2.7 Appointments offered as a benefit of Membership are subject to our cancellation policy, per our Terms of Business. Accordingly, a Member may lose one or more appointments where they cancel at short notice or fail to attend.
3.1 Following the Minimum Membership Period of twelve (12) months, Membership shall renew automatically on each anniversary of the Commencement Date (the “Renewal Date”).
3.2 West End Dental will not issue revised documentation or remind a Member of renewal except where there is a variation to the plan’s pricing, terms and conditions or benefits.
3.3 After the Minimum Membership Period, one (1) month’s notice in writing is required to terminate Membership, except where a patient has attended an appointment and/or enjoyed paid-for treatment within the previous three months, three (3) month’s notice in writing is required. Notice can be provided by e-mail to info@westend-dental.com from the registered e-mail address on file for the Member, or by writing to us at Membership Services, West End Dental, 104 Conway Road, Colwyn Bay LL29 7LL. Valid notice must include the Member’s full name and their date of birth. In the case of Child Members, notice will be accepted from the registered parent or guardian.
3.4 West End Dental reserves the right to vary or make changes to Membership, these terms and conditions, and the benefits available after giving 30 days’ notice of any such change.
4.1 Membership is restricted to the West End Dental practice specified on a Membership application, and Membership benefits cannot be transferred to any other West End Dental practice without our explicit permission.
5.1 All notices under these Terms and Conditions shall be issued by email to the registered e-mail address for the Member, or if no e-mail address is provided in writing to the last known address.
6.1 A person who is not a party to this contract has no rights under the Contracts (Right of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any of these terms and conditions or the provisions of the Policy Document.
7.1 These Terms and Conditions and the policy document shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh Courts.
